Parking & Entry

Geodis Park is a secure facility. You will need to enter through a parking gate and go through a screening to enter. This should be a quick process as long as you follow these tips:

Arrive before 9am – the parking gate will be open to the parking lot, and you won’t have to wait on security to buzz you in to park. So, arrive on time! If you arrive after 9am, you will need to push the call button on the box to let security know you are attending the event in the WEHO Club before they will let you through the gates.
Weapons of any kind including, but not limited to, knives, pepper spray, stun guns, concealed weapons, and firearms are prohibited. You will be going through a stadium security check before entering the building.
Smoking, including using e-cigarettes, is prohibited.

2:15pm – Networking break

Labs Information

You can now register for maximum of two hands-on lab sessions. Details below.

You will sign up for a 15-minute timeslot before Friday.
Labs will take place in the C Spire Captain’s Club – take the elevator to 3.
When you arrive for your lab time slot, you will pick the lab you will work on and be handed printed instructions.
A laptop will be provided for you to use for the lab, and the laptop will already be logged in with the lab user account.
Be kind and respectful – leave the laptop as you found it!

Special note: The labs were created by volunteers to provide you introductory-level training. If you would like more training, speak with one of our sponsors or speakers!

✅ What they are

Introductory Guidance – These 15-minute labs are your chance to get Entry-Level experience with tools in Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform. If you already have experience with these tools, these labs might not be for you.

Once in a lifetime – Ok, not really, but you can sign up for TWO timeslots. So, check the event schedule so you know what timeslots will work for you! MAKE SURE TO REGISTER FOR A TIMESLOT WITH THE SAME EMAIL YOU USED TO REGISTER FOR THE EVENT. Registrations with email addresses that don’t match will be deleted.

🚫 What they are NOT

Proctored – there will be a volunteer there to make sure you have access and MAY be able to help answer questions about the lab. You will be following instructions on a printed guide sheet for the lab.

Time consuming – The labs are meant to be short intros to the tools. Your timeslot is for 15 minutes – please wrap up your work so the next attendee can use their full 15 minutes.

In-depth training – The labs are your start to getting your hands on tech that you don’t have experience with. These labs will NOT make you an expert but hopefully will give you the start you need to understand if you want to learn even more!
